Cartwright's classic comedy performed at the Young Vic Studio, London, before touring to Edinburgh for the festival. In a northern pub, the landlord and landlady bicker furiously as they preside over their haphazard collection of regulars --all 14 characters performed by two resilient and exhausted actors!
