‘Do you think they’ll remember us for this Frank? Will we be heroes to your little kid?’
In the winter of 1942, a Lancaster Bomber crew is shot down behind enemy lines. The exhausted crew hide out in the basement of a Dutch school. They must get through the night using camaraderie, humour, and blind faith.
Originally titled The Legend of Squadron 463, Immortal premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival before touring London, Newbury and Bath. |

Reviews 'As comical as it is haunting. ... Debut Theatre Company's production maintains a perfect balance of humour and urgency throughout.' (TimeOut, London) ‘An involving piece of theatre handled effortlessly.. The dialogue’s great with a nice line in humour and there’s an unexpected twist at the end.’ (****The Scotsman). 'A captivating and enthralling play...this was a powerful drama from a talented cast and for me a most moving theatrical experience. I hope they will return to Newbury soon.' (The Newbury Weekly News) ‘A gripping and compelling piece of theatrical magic.’ (The Irish Times) |
